One for the boys … the six sexiest TV adverts of all time
JENNY … Gets sexy with a salad
JENNY McCARTHY got our juices flowing when she seductively tucked into a salad for a saucy new ad for the Carl Jr restaurant chain. But it’s not the first raunchy commercial to get fellas a bit flustered. From Victoria’s Secret supermodels to Cindy Crawford’s erotic Pepsi encounter, here are six of the sexiest ads of all time.
Agent Provocateur – Kylie Minogue
You sure did Kylie.Kylie’s sexy advertisement for lingerie giants Agent Provocateur features a rather raunchy clip of the Aussie singer sporting sexy underwear while she rides a rodeo machine.
The controversial advert was banned from TV in 2001 as it was considered too sexy for our screens. At the beginning of the advert Kylie says: “Agent Provocateur is the most erotic lingerie in the world” and “we can prove it.”
You sure did Kylie.
Bavaria beer showcased their product through a sexy model in a bikini – and what a selling point it was. The model is seen emerging from the water, dripping wet, and follows directions from a man holding the beer bottle.
He pushes his luck one step further and peels the label off with hopes that the beach beauty will follow suit and take off her bikini…
No such luck boys.
Victoria’s Secret – What Is Sexy?
So… what is sexy?
The Victoria’s Secret bombshells answer that question easily in one of their raciest adverts of all time. This sums up sexy at its best as the supermodels strut around in next to nothing sending temperatures through the roof in this 2001 commercial.
Cindy Crawford – Pepsi
This 1992 commercial still claims the title as one of the sexiest ads to ever grace our screens. Cindy Crawford is seen by two young boys buying a can of Pepsi from a vending machine with one commenting in awe: “Is that a great new Pepsi can or what?”
His drooling friend comments: “It’s beautiful.” Nothing to do with the long locks, high-waisted shorts and the tight, white vest top Cindy is sporting.
Miller Lite – Girl Catfight
Miller Lite certainly created controversy over this 2003 commercial, which involves two girls in undies wrestling in the street. The ladies start fighting in a water fountain which quickly turns into a mud fight leading some to argue that it was too much for our screens to handle.
Women everywhere were racing to the remote to stop their men gawking from the sofa. Is the raunchy catfight a step too far? Decide for yourself.
Levi’s – Up and Down
The well-known phrase ‘sex sells’ rings true for every ad on this list. And Levi’s sure know how to sell a pair of jeans. This 2002 commercial shows a string of women in underwear slipping countless pairs of Levis up and down to Basement Jaxx’s – Do Your Thing.
In a clever marketing stunt, close-ups are shot from the waist down with bottoms, undies and Levis labels dominating our screens.
The popular commercial won an online ‘Supervote’ and was shown during the 2002 Superbowl.
